Spreading Hope in a Muslim Majority Country
Meet our new Global Partners, Daniel and Sierra Miller. The Millers and their four children live in the Horn of Africa and they’ve been serving in this beautiful yet challenging area since 2017.
The area where the Millers serve has a 96% Muslim population, but despite the obstacles they face, they are dedicated to spreading hope and love to the unreached people in East Africa. One of their main goals is to lead a kids’ church service in unreached villages once a week. Through these services, they are able to share the message of Christ with those who may have never heard it before.
In addition to the church work, they also lead a community Bible study and go out to different villages to spray animals for ticks. This not only helps to improve the health of the animals but also allows them to connect with and minister to the people in these communities.
One unique way they reach out to the unreached in East Africa is through sports. They support a local soccer team made up of Muslim children and use this platform to share the gospel with them. Through the universal language of sports, they are able to build relationships and spread the message of hope and salvation.
Their work in Africa has its challenges, but they are constantly reminded of the impact they are making in the lives of the people they serve. Daniel and Sierra invite you to join them on this journey as they continue to spread the love of Christ in this Muslim-majority country.
It’s wonderful to hear about the ways in which Daniel and Sierra are spreading the message of hope and faith in East Africa. It’s inspiring to see their dedication to reaching out to the local communities through evangelism, preaching, teaching, and leading Bible studies. Their involvement in the animal project and village trips shows their commitment to reaching unreached people and making a tangible impact in the region.
We are grateful for Daniel and Sierra’s willingness to serve in multiple capacities to share the love of God with those in East Africa. Their holistic approach to ministry, combining practical initiatives with spiritual outreach, is sure to make a lasting difference in the lives of the people they encounter.
