PackHOPE 2024 – A Celebration of Generosity and Impact

William Torres Sr.   -

On December 7th, we hosted our annual PackHOPE serving event, and it was nothing short of incredible! With well over 500 volunteers coming together, we met our goal of packing 150,000 meals—a true testament to the power of community and compassion.

We saw families, small groups, friends, and children stepping up to serve. From the smallest hands to the most experienced, everyone contributed to making this serving event a success. As one of our small group leaders shared, “It’s so great to be able to serve as a group. They are like my family.”

For one couple, the event was an answer to a long-standing desire. “We’ve been talking about serving for months,” they said, “and this gave us the opportunity to finally do so.” Moments like these remind us of the unique ways God uses opportunities like PackHOPE to inspire and mobilize His people.

These 150,000 meals represent so much more than packed boxes; they symbolize hope for families facing hunger across the globe. To put it into perspective, this event will provide meals to 5,000 people for an entire month. That’s 30 days of nourishment, encouragement, and relief for families navigating tough times.

While the generosity of our Worship Center family has been remarkable, we still haven’t fully met the $50,000 cost of hosting PackHOPE. But there’s still time to make a difference! If you’d like to contribute, we’ll keep giving opportunities open through the end of the year. Every donation ensures that more meals and hope can be sent to those in need. To give, go to worshipcenter.org/give and select PackHOPE from the designation dropdown menu.

Thank You, Church!

A heartfelt thank you to every volunteer and supporter who made this event possible. Your commitment to showing up, giving, and serving is a powerful example of what it means to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Together, we packed more than meals—we packed hope, love, and compassion for a hurting world.
