Pastor Cindy Scott Leaving WC Staff

Don Neff   -

Cindy Scott, our Groups and Volunteer Director, will be leaving Worship Center staff at the end of December. Her last day in the office will be December 17, as the Scotts have some travel plans from the 18th through the 22nd.

Cindy and her husband Eric have been valuable members of our ministry team for over seven years. Recently, Worship Center leadership and Cindy have been discussing how her unique gifts can best serve the church in this current season. Through these conversations, they got clarity about Cindy’s strengths in coaching and consulting. Together, they discerned there could be an even greater kingdom impact if Cindy were to take those gifts beyond our church to the broader church community.

Cindy will launch a consulting ministry for church leaders as an extension of her Bridges Coaching organization, which she has been leading for 13 years. Cindy has many relationships with church leaders and already has some consulting opportunities.

Eric will continue in his role as Marriage and Family Pastor.

From Cindy, “Serving at Worship Center these past 7+ years has been a privilege. I love this church and have cherished being a part of what God is doing here in hearts and lives. Leading the Groups Collaborative team has been a highlight, supporting group leaders to make our big church feel small!  It was an honor to serve on the leadership team! I look forward to being a part of all God has for Worship Center moving forward!”

Pastor Matt, Cindy’s team leader, says, “I am grateful for all the time and effort Cindy invested in helping people connect into small groups here at WC, as well as her influence on coach training many of our leaders. She cares about people and is skilled at helping them grow. I look forward to seeing how she will continue to be a blessing to the kingdom of God in this next chapter.”

We are thankful for all that Cindy sowed into WC in the 7 ½ years she served on staff and are looking forward to what God will do in this next season!
