We’re so glad you’re considering water baptism!
This class is for anyone in 9th grade to adults.
If you are signing up a child in 4th grade or younger, please contact Jessica Moister.
If you are signing up a child (or yourself) in grade 5-8 you will attend a separate class. More information will be sent to you after you register for this baptism.
Water baptism is your next step after turning from sin and turning toward Jesus Christ, placing your faith in him alone for salvation. It is an outward expression of an inward transformation. It’s declaring to your church family, “I have decided to follow Jesus!”
Your water baptism will include attending three lessons during the 9am service on the three Sundays (September 1, 8, & 15) leading up to your water baptism (September 22). Each lesson is important for your understanding of who you are as a new creation in Christ and the significance of baptism as a spiritual milestone.
We’re looking forward to seeing you at the first class, “The Bible and Your Faith Journey” on Sunday, September 1, 2024 at 9am in the Fireside Room.
