Water Street Serving Opportunity
January 9 9:00 - 11:00 am
It used to be that people outside of the U.S. experienced issues that were quite different from those in a local, American community. Now, we see a growing need to respond to problems like poverty and other social concerns in our own backyard. Refugees from the least reached parts of the world arrive in our communities on a consistent basis, and children and young people need godly mentors more than ever.
Through the eyes of the Gospel, this is an incredible opportunity. As a church, we want to embrace our local community and be ambassadors of Christ, sharing his love to our neighbors. We partner with local experts to help meet felt needs in our community.
CVCCS provides food, clothing, mentoring, and ministry in the name of Jesus Christ for our struggling neighbors to sustainably improve their standard of living. They fulfill this mission with integrity and credibility while protecting the dignity of those we serve without discrimination.
Good Samaritan Services gives immediate help to people who are experiencing homelessness, and helps those at risk of becoming homeless, by restoring their lives to stability. Good Sam desires to play a leading role in our community in ending and preventing homelessness.
The mission of Revelations of Freedom Ministries is to lead men in recovery toward lifelong freedom through life skills education, relationship restoration, and a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Water Street Mission’s purpose is to advance the kingdom of God through the gospel of Jesus Christ and to do missionary, relief, and rescue work of all kinds. Their vision is to create healing communities where lives are transformed.
Our goal for partnering with Lancaster County Prison is to bring hope and restoration to those within our community’s criminal justice system. This team hosts monthly church services in the prison, as well as meets individually with inmates. Email lisaw@worshipcenter.org to find out more!

Unrestricted is a ministry that hosts worship and activation nights for students inside of schools. We exist to gather students to rally behind the name of Jesus with the hope that students will encounter Jesus and engage with others through His love. Our desire is for students to see themselves as missionaries inside one of the greatest mission fields they’ll ever be in – their school! Alongside these events, Unrestricted aims to bridge that gap between the local church and the local high schools through discipleship, outreaches, and fostering relationships between the church, school, and Unrestricted.
Bridge of Hope serves families who are homeless or are at risk of becoming homeless in the Lancaster area. They desire to see these families settled in housing that is safe and affordable, and thriving in a helpful community. They focus specifically on single mother families.
