Mark

I was born and raised here in Lancaster County and have lived most of my life in this area. My parents moved to this area back in 1990 as immigrants from Russia. I’m the youngest of seven children and grew up speaking both English and Russian. I gave my life to Christ at a young age and have been involved in church since I’ve been born, since I am a pastor’s kid. I’ve been serving in churches most of my life in various ways. As a teenager I began to learn the drums and went on to serve on the worship team at my church. That is where I started drumming on worship teams and have since then been privileged to play with many worship teams including here at Worship Center. After high school I became more interested in the technical side of music and production which lead me to study Live Production at Lancaster Bible College. From my time there as well as being involved with tech at my church, I gained valuable knowledge in audio, video and lighting.

I began attending Worship Center back in September of 2022 and was immediately drawn in because of the distinct heart for worship that this church has. Its been a privilege to get to serve on the worship team and I am grateful now for the opportunity to utilize technology and creativity to create experiences that impact people’s lives and help further the gospel through my role as the Lighting and Stage Designer. My role involves designing the lighting for our services and events, designing and supervising the installation of future stage designs and overseeing our lighting team.
