What is the Cost of Following Jesus?

Throughout this series, we took time to more deeply understand Jesus’s teachings from the Sermon on the Mount. In this message, Pastor Matt wraps up the series by talking about what it means to be a disciple of Jesus and truly counting the cost of following him.

The life of truly following Jesus is a narrow road. Following Jesus also means surrendering to him as Lord. Our lives will look different compared to most people and require much sacrifice of our own ways. But it also means having joy unspeakable, peace surpassing understanding, and great purpose for everyday life that comes from the Lord and not the temporary things of this world.
